The 2024 Central States VHF Society Conference will feature two enjoyable luncheons with speakers who will present on interesting topics.

Friday, July 26

Menu:   Pasta Buffet ($30)

Guest speakers:  Peter Van Horne KA6U: "902Mhz EME Roving October 2023 - 27 States in 21 Days + WAS #1"

Peter will describe his portable EME station, operating procedures, and share photos from the expedition.

Menu:  Taco Buffet ($30)

Guest speaker:  Tom Vinson NY0V:  "A DXer’s Gridpedition to EN67. Or What’s a Guy Like YOU doing in a place like this?"

Tom will take you through his journey from HF DXing to his first solo Gridpediton to EN67 in June 2023.  He will describe how he picked the grid, the equipment and system used, and the lessons learned.
